Alliance Tool Hire is one of the South of England's top five independent tool hire companies. With 10 depots across London, Kent, Gatwick, Salisbury, Poole, Bath, Bristol, and Newport, Wales we offer a comprehensive range of power tools, access and survey equipment from the leading premium brands.
We also run a dedicated Lifting Division with LEEA-qualified lifting engineers, a full range of products and bespoke software to support testing, inspection and management of customer equipment in accordance with LOLER regulations.
Our hire managers average 20 years in the industry and are from the regions they serve, so you get a genuinely local welcome. They take time to understand what each customer actually needs and provide expert advice so you get the right kit for the job. In 2026 we celebrate our 15th birthday, and it's a mark of our customer-first focus and continual investments that 80% of our business comes from customers who keep coming back to us.

That track record reflects the experience at the heart of Alliance. Managing Director Mark Rousell has 40 years of operational experience in tool hire, and co-founded Alliance. Our CEO Beth Peters brings a different angle - she is a former strategy consultant to the industrial sector, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Alliance Tool Hire is created through the merger of London Tool Hire and South Coast Tool Hire.
