At Alliance Tool Hire, we’re committed to providing you with the highest quality equipment, which is why we’ve always included Hilti breakers in our fleet, now featuring selections from their new Nuron range.

Our team is often asked which breaker is best for which job, so we’ve created a simple guide and a helpful chart to make it easier for you. Whether you’re breaking through walls or floors, dealing with different materials, or handling various thicknesses, our guide will help you understand how to use these versatile breakers effectively.

Selecting the right tool

Using the right tool for your application helps increase productivity, extend tool life and improve overall operator comfort and safety.

To help select the right tool, it’s important to ask yourself the following questions:

  1. What zone will I be working in most of the time?
  2. What base materials will I be primarily working with?
  3. What percentage of time will I be working with each material?
  4. What is the material thickness?
  5. Will I mainly be working on surface preparation or breaking?
