At Alliance Tool Hire, we're committed to providing you with the highest quality equipment, which is why we've always included Hilti breakers in our fleet, which now features models from their new cordless Nuron range.

Our team is often asked which breaker is best for which job, so we've created a simple guide and a helpful chart to make it easier for you. Whether you're breaking through walls or floors, dealing with different materials, or handling various thicknesses, our guide will help you understand how to use these versatile breakers effectively.

Selecting the right tool

Using the right tool for your application helps to increase productivity, reduce the likelihood of damage, and improve overall comfort and safety.

To help select the right tool, it’s important to ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Will I mainly be working on surface prep (chipping) or breaking?
  2. What zone will I be working in most of the time?
  3. What base materials will I be primarily working with and how thick are they?
