Gary joined Alliance in March, bringing more than 20 years of hire industry experience.
From web bookings to quotes and deliveries, Gary keeps orders moving and customers happy - fuelled, we're told, by bacon rolls with brown HP sauce and the occasional chocolate hobnob.
What attracted you to join Alliance Tool Hire, and what excites you most about your role?
Knowing the industry, these days the best companies are the independents as they offer a more personal service to their customers and in particular Alliance have vast experience within the Tool Hire Sector.

I first started in hire back in 2004, I worked for HSS for 10 years in various roles which helped me have a greater understanding of the business and industry. I then went to City Tool Hire for 3 years in various roles and getting back to tool hire, then finally moving on to Alliance in March this year joining as Sales Support Manager.

I like the fact that I can easily speak to our management team and get things resolved quicky when needed.
What are the most common challenges you hear from site managers?
To be honest I don’t get that many problems cross my path other than the odd delayed collection.
