We can source a comprehensive range of skips in various sizes and for differing waste types. We offer more bespoke waste removal services - get in touch with your account manager to learn more.

Skip dos and don'ts

Be careful about what you put in the skip: Disposable waste items that can be put in a skip include: Bricks & Rubble, Construction Waste, Domestic Waste, Furniture, Garden Waste, Metal, Non-Electrical Fittings, Plastics, Soil and Wood.

Items that cannot be put in a skip include: Asbestos, Batteries, Chemicals, Compressed Gas Cylinders, Electrical Items (WEEE), Fluorescent Bulbs, Hazardous Waste, Medical Waste, Paint and Tyres.

Don’t overfill the skip. This is dangerous and in some cases makes it impossible for it to be lifted.

Don’t light fires in the skips. This is illegal and you will be liable for replacement or repair costs.

Don’t mix hazardous waste in with inert or general waste as this will incur additional costs and may mean we are unable to take your waste away.

Features

  • 6 cubic yards / 4.6 m3: Hold ~65 black bin bags of rubbish
  • 8 cubic yards / 6.1 m3: Hold ~80 black bin bags of rubbish
  • 12 cubic yards / 9.2 m3: Hold ~120 black bin bags of rubbish
  • Skips are typically better for heavy waste (e.g. rubble and soil) - our man and van removal services may be more cost effective if you have light, bulky waste.
